Web links

Here's my select annotated list of highly recommended Pagan web links. I feel that a select list is much better than a long sprawling list of questionable and half-dead links. This way, I am only recommending the best. If you find that any of these links have changed or gone dead, please let me know.

Asatru / Norse Heathenism / Forn Sed

Frigga's web: a frithstead for all heathen folk -- to quote from their 'about' page: "Frigga's Web is designed to support Frigga's aims of building a strong, multi-faceted, viable Heathen community in the modern world, and provide a space that is focused on peace, frith, and the practical arts and skills of running and living in that community." While visiting Frigga's web site, check out Reeve's Hall and read the do-it-yourself ritual kit.

The Irminsul Aettir Asatru Page -- an information network on Asatru containing many topics and an extensive library of links

The Wyrd Page -- a Germanic/Nordic Heathen religion page run by some members of New Mexico's heathen community. Be sure to check out "Asatru Basics," maintained within Erich's Hall.

The Viking Answer Lady -- if you have a question about Viking history or customs, Gunnora has an answer. This is a fantastic web site containing an archived of detailed answers to all sorts of Viking-related questions. Don't miss this site!

The Germanic Heritage Page -- a well-maintained set of links to history, folklore, language, literature, religion, marketplace and, best of all, amusement (including one of my faves: The Havamal for New Yawkas).

The Ring of Troth: an Asatru organization that is "dedicated to exploring, practicing and promoting the pre-Christian religion of the Germanic peoples, who include the English, Norse, Icelanders, Swedes and Germans, …" They published Our Troth, an 700+ page book on Heathen / Asatru religion.
